Recruiting News and Notes for Week of July 14

Girls Basketball
Erin Davenport (SR) Clarkston G -- Committed to Macomb Community College
Davenport, one of the three senior back court standouts for Clarkston this season gave her commitment to play for Macomb Community College after helping lead the Wolves to a 22-2 record and three consecutive district titles. Davenport was named to the All-OAA Red Team and was also on the All-Oakland County Honorable Mention team as well.

Patrice Matthews (SR) Clarkston G -- Committed to Kellogg Community College
Matthews, one of the best 3-point shooting threats in the area this past season, committed to play for Kellogg Community College recently after wrapping up her career with the Wolves. Matthews was selected as Clarkston's most improved player for the 2012-2013 season, while she played a key role in Clarkston's OAA Red and District titles this past season.

Girls Bowling
Alicia Babicz (SR), Lake Orion -- Committed to Aquinas College
Babicz, one of the state's top bowlers from this past winter, recently committed to bowl at Aquinas after wrapping up her senior season where she advanced to the Division 1 quarterfinals and also took fifth place at regionals. Babicz finished the year with an average of 198 while being named third team all-state and was named to the All-Oakland County team as well.
