One of the county's top trios from a season ago have all found a home at the college level. The Novi basketball "Big three" of Samer Ozeir, Rob Laney and Chris Milon that helped lead the KLAA champion Wildcats to an impressive 18-4 mark have all made commitments to play at the college level next season.
Ozeir will be taking his talents to Division I Columbia and Laney has made his commitment to play at Northwood while Chris Milon has decided to sign with Allegheny College.
Last season, Ozeir continued to build on his promising sophomore and junior campaigns, averaging over 20 points and 12 rebounds along with two blocks per contest and solidifying himself as one of the top inside-out threats in Oakand County.
After battling through injuries throughout much of his high school career, Laney had a break-out season of sorts as a senior, as the all-everything guard averaged over 15 points and handing six assists per game.
Milon became one of the area’s top inside forces as the season progressed, doing a little bit of everything in the paint for the Wildcats, averaging over nine points and nine rebounds and blocking two and a half shots per game.
