Brother Rice's Church, Southfield Payne Make their Commitments

Today two of the more underrated recruits in Oakland County made their decision on where they will play in college and two schools got huge steals with their commitments. Birmingham Brother Rice running back Devin Church made his commitment to Northern Illinois while Southfield corner Leviticus Payne decided he will play at Cincinnati next year.

Church, a three start player according to Rivals, is lightning quick out of the backfield And can do it all, whether it be running the ball or catching the ball out of the backfield. Church is a guy who should have a monster 2012 season and could be as dangerous as any running back in the county for next season. Church passed on offers from Boston College, Toledo and Bowling Green to commit to Northern Illinois.

Payne is considered as a three start recruit as well, and is as good as it comes in the secondary, because of his athleticism and is considered as one of the best corners in the state. Payne, who turned down offers from Iowa, Toledo, Western Michigan and Bowling Green, will play a big role in shutting down opposing offenses this season and should do the same at the next level.
